JUNIOR LEAGUE: The Clarence Coast Magpies have built on their successful 2016 season with the club celebrating four teams winning through to their grand final.

The Under 10s, Under 11s, Under 13s and Under 14s will all take to the field in this Saturday's Group 1 Junior Rugby League grand final that will be played at Casino.

Clarence Coast Magpies secretary Kerry Lee said the club was excited to have four teams playing on grand final day, after having three teams play in grand finals last year.

For the Under 11s and Under 13s, this will be their second consecutive year playing in grand finals, after claiming victories in the year younger age division last year.

"We are very fortunate to have great volunteer coaches who have put so much time in training all the teams and encouraging the kids to play to their full potential," Lee said.

"The growth in all the players' skills, their sportsmanship and their confidence is really noticeable and they have done us proud.
