Man airlifted after crash on Lawrence Road

A MAN whose car collided with a tree near Lawrence this morning is being airlifted to hospital.

Police said the single vehicle accident happened some time before 8.30am.

It is believed he lost control of the silver Holden Commodore travelling on Lawrence Rd and hit a tree before coming to a stop in a paddock.

The extent of his injuries is unknown at this stage.
