A man will face court today charged over the death of a man north of Grafton.
A man will face court today charged over the death of a man north of Grafton.

POLICE continue to investigate the suspicious death of a man near Grafton.

Police said a man was found deceased on Collum Collum Station, Baryugil, about 70km north of Grafton on Thursday about 11.15am. 

A crime scene was established and following investigations into the man's death police arrested a 42-year-old man at the scene, police said. 

He was taken to Grafton Police Station and charged with dangerous driving causing death.

The man was refused bail to appear in Grafton Local Court today.

Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the man's death and will prepare a report for the information of the Coroner.

The man is yet to be formally identified and a post mortem examination will be conducted next week to determine the exact cause of his death.
