Did these men kill a mother and daughters? Trial begins
COURT hearings have begun for two men accused of the cold case murder of a mother and her two daughters.
The hearings are in preparation for their trial that is expected to take place later this year.
Warwick man Vincent O'Dempsey, 77, and Torbanlea man Garry Reginald Dubois, 69, who grew up in Mackay, have been committed to stand trial for the 1974 murder of Barbara McCulkin and her two daughters.
The men's case was reviewed at Brisbane Supreme Court on Thursday when lawyers discussed court applications that will be made in the lead-up to the trial.
It is expected some of these applications will occur later this month.
