Megan and Erica have both put in requests to their dad for a new pair of spikes for the trip.

Kyle McIlveen will make his second trip to Sydney in recent months to compete in a high jump event and hopes to smash his personal best of 1.3m in the under-11s competition.

Sarah Donnelly hopes to continue her recent good form in the under-12s long jump and Hugh Cameron likewise in the under-13s high jump.

Sarah Harre will have a busy weekend of field events competing in the under-13s high jump, discus and triple jump while big sister Elizabeth will be contesting the under-15s 800 and 3000 metres on the track.
