Say hello to Daily Examiner deputy editor Shannon Newley at Toast on Prince St between 10am and noon and have a coffee. Chris Calcino

Meet Shannon and ask, ‘what’s brewing?’

HAVE a coffee on The Daily Examiner.

DEX deputy editor Shannon Newley will be out roving in Grafton today and is setting up shop at Toast - and she wants to buy you a coffee.

The first 10 people to visit Shannon at the cafe will be shouted a coffee, tea or hot chocolate, and all you have to do is come in and sit down to say hello.

Toast is celebrating its first birthday today with live broadcasting by FM104.7 from the shop.

So head along to Toast at 31 Prince St, Grafton, between 10am-noon and have a coffee and a chat with Shannon.

Just look for The Daily Examiner laptop.

If you would like to host Shannon or another DEX staff member for a couple of hours at your cafe in Grafton, phone and let us know at The Daily Examiner office on 6643 0562. All we need is a table and a power point; and we pay for the coffees.

Journalist Lachlan Thompson will also be roving in Yamba today and tomorrow.

He'll be catching up with the people at Willy Wagtails Kindergarten and hearing about how they ended up being nominated for an award.

Later he'll be talking to Tom at Yamba's iconic Tom's Chinese about his plans to relocate his business.

Finally Lachlan will be talking to the staff at the Blue Dolphin caravan park about how guests knitted them a charity blanket.

To chat to Lachy, phone 0400 960 047.
