Meet the Examiner’s new general manager
THE Daily Examiner has always played a part in Kelly Price’s life, from the time as a child when she saw her mother reading it every day.
And now Mrs Price is playing a major role in the life of the Examiner as its new general manager.
The lifelong Clarence Valley resident said she was thrilled to be appointed to the position.
“It is a real privilege to be able to lead the great team at The Daily Examiner.
“I see the paper and our website as essential parts of the Clarence Valley and my aim is to work to ensure they remain the news sources the local community needs and wants.”
Mrs Price lives with her husband and children on a property at Seelands. She has a background in business sales and most recently was the Examiner’s newspaper sales manager.
“I am passionate about the Clarence and want to see it go from strength to strength,” she said.
“These are exciting times with the highway, bridge and jail developments going ahead and bringing jobs to the region.
“Changing technology presents us all some challenges, but at heart this is still the same business; it is about the people who are our readers and advertisers and the important things in their lives.”
