Mick Hart's new album

TALENTED folk/roots musician Mick Hart is back in Australia after spending four years in France.

And he hasn't come back empty handed. Australia's prodigal folkster is releasing two albums this year.

The first - What Lies Beneath - he launched two weeks ago, and the second - Where I am - is due out in September.

Mick said he simply had too much material to fit on one album, so divided it in two. The first album was emotive folk/pop, he said, while the second was more hard-edged roots.

To celebrate the release of What Lies Beneath, Mick is touring the country. Fans can hear him perform a free live gig at the Yamba Bowling Club on Saturday.

Mick will play with a full backing band, plus support from The Mojo Man.
