IT'S a home that would probably market for more than double the price on the Gold Coast or the Sunshine Coast.

But on the Fraser Coast, you can snap up this dream home on the Esplanade in Urangan for the bargain price of $1.675 million.

Owners Quentin and June Turner-Smith built the home more than four years ago, bringing together the best of what they had seen, after years of renovating and travelling the world, into their five-bedroom home.

Sprake selling agent Sid Boshammer said the home was perfect for entertaining.

It is one of only two Fraser Coast homes Mr Boshammer has seen with an internal elevator.

In the Urangan home, the elevator leads to the main bedroom with a walk-in wardrobe, study, ensuite and room to entertain.

Mr Boshammer said in the past top property on the Fraser Coast had been in an old-fashioned mould but this one was refreshingly modern.

And it was superior to its Sunshine Coast/Gold Coast revivals in terms to ambience and location, he said.

"It's so quiet," he said.
