Mitchell to headline Motorcross

THIS weekend one of the stars of the Metrakit MiniGP Series in Australia will be present at Maclean Dirt Bike Club’s Motocross Madness in Maclean - Luke Mitchell.

Mitchell finished fourth at the World Festival in Barcelona, Spain in September and has earned an invitation back to the 2010 Festival.

He achieved the highest qualifying and finishing position from any junior Australian at the World Festival.

The main focus of the stand this weekend is to promote the NSW legal junior road racing bikes, such as the 80cc machine on which Mitchell will be racing.

The Maclean Motorcross Madness event is expected to see more 750 fans and hundreds more riders attend.

The event is in its second year of operation and organisers are hoping to grow on last year’s impressive debut numbers.

Categories include under-4s and over-35s as well as social classes so there is plenty of action for all fans.

Come along and see Mitchell, the Metrakit Road Bikes and have a sneak peek at the Metrakit MKX65 motocross bike which is set to take the country by storm.
