MKR teams offered instant restaurant redemption

ANOTHER set of doorbells will ring on My Kitchen Rules this week.

The instant restaurants aren't over yet, it was revealed on the show tonight.

The two lowest scoring teams from all three rounds will now compete in a redemption round.

The female-heavy group includes Toowoomba's Sheri and Emilie, Melbourne's Jane and Emma, Adelaide's Annie and Lloyd, Sydney's Katie and Nikki and two Perth teams: Kat and Andre and Eva and Debra.

Before tonight's announcement big-hearted South Africans Lynn and Tony were eliminated from Colin Fassnidge's third instant restaurant group.

Sydney promo girls Katie and Nikki scraped through thanks to their dessert, a deconstructed lemon tart elevated by the surprise addition of a marscapone sorbet.

The university students didn't make a great first impression, serving up Nikki's confusing take on a hot pot.

The spatchcock in their main course was inconsistently cooked and divided the table.

The sassy-themed instant restaurant also included a runway, on which the hosts and dinner guests took turns doing catwalks.

Judges Many Feildel and Pete Evans will now travel the country once again for the instant restaurant redemption round, starting tomorrow night with Annie and Lloyd.
