Monsters, super heroes and disco fever

YEAR 1H students at The Clarence Valley Anglican School have enjoyed creating their own 2D shape monsters in mathematics, while other year 1 students have created their own super hero using clay. They will also be writing a narrative about their super hero after completing a descriptive poster on the super hero.

On Friday, March 11, PK to Year 6 students had their first disco for the year. It was a great success and there were lots of fantastic outfits to match the beach theme. The hall was full of funky dance moves and lots of big smiles which was great to see!

A big thank you to our fabulous Year 12 girls, Christie, Chloe, Alicea, Matisse and Shannon who ran the discos with loads of enthusiasm and patience. Thank you to the Stage 3 SRC members who helped with posters, worked at the door and sold leis. A big thank you to all the staff who assisted on the night and to the P&F who ran the barbecue. It was great to see so many parents and students coming together for a school event. We look forward to seeing you all again in term three at our next disco.
