LCCA CRICKET: The experience of batting brothers Dean (29) and Craig Moran (29*) shone for Maclean United as they cruised to Harwood's total of 104 two balls shy of the 20-over mark.

The steady heads at the crease were happy to work the Harwood bowling attack into the gaps accumulating a steady flow of runs before Brushgrove convert Glenn Clark (22*) finished the innings off with a few glimpses of powerful strokeplay.

It was Clark (3-23) alongside fellow paceman John Causley (3-26) who had done all the damage with cherry in hand for United as they bowled Harwood out in the 30th over.

The writing was on the wall for Harwood when Moran and Clark combined to remove top scorer Mark Vallette (33), with the next three wickets falling for just five runs.

Michael Essex picked up the late wicket of Mitch Niemic off his two overs while not leaking a single run to close out the innings.
