More state bowls honours for Jamie

CHAMPION Yamba bowler Jamie Eichorn has again been selected in the NSW Under 18 State side.

Jamie travelled to Sydney at the end of last month to compete in the annual City v Country fixture.

Country won the event by two tests to one, with Jamie contributing strongly as skip of one of the Country sides.

At the conclusion, the 2010 State squad was announced, together with a six-man state side to compete in South Australia in January.

Jamie, a member of this year’s successful State side was named in both.

The NSW side will compete against Victoria, South Australia and Western Australia. The event will be held at the Brighton Bowls Club from January 11 to 14. Jamie will again play second in both the triples and the fours.
