More success on cards for teenage hockey starlet

JUST weeks after celebrating an Australian Under-15 Girls Hockey title with New South Wales, Grafton's Sarah Donnolley has gained selection to trial for the NSW Combined High Schools Under-16s team.

The 14-year-old Grafton High School student will travel down to the Central Coast to trial this Sunday.

Last night Sarah and her Grafton High Blues side were recuperating at training on the back of the side's A-Grade loss to McAuley White.

Grafton High had sustained the pressure in the first half to go into half-time all square at nil-all.

But in the second half the strong McAuley outfit was able to gain the ascendancy and pulled away to win 3-0 with two goals to Ashlee Danvers and one to Tarni Forbes.

In the other match Demons Greens and Kylies played out a one-all draw. Kiralee Monkhoue found the goal for Demons and Danielle Hollis for Kylies.

This Saturday Grafton High takes on Kylies on the Legends Field at 5.20pm.

In the preceding A-Grade fixture McAuley White will play Demons Green at 2.50pm.
