Mother’s Day for Marian

MARIAN Churchill is looking forward to this weekend.

Coinciding with Mother’s Day this year is a visit from her sisters who live in Melbourne.

“It will be really great to see them again and it should be a lovely weekend,” she said.

Marian has lived in Grafton for 28 years and said that it was the easy pace of life in the Clarence Valley that keeps her here.

“One of my favourite things about Grafton is the art gallery. I love seeing the new exhibitions and think that it is a real asset to the community.”

In her spare time, Marian loves to spend time with her 19-month-old grandson, Nayte Myer, and curling up with a good book.

“I also love getting my hands dirty in the garden. I have a nice vegetable garden and love getting outside in the sun and making everything around my house look nice,” Marian said.
