MP splashes out on house in spare time

WITH everything ticked off his Christmas shopping list, Member for Clarence Steve Cansdell is ready to relax with his family over the Christmas period.

Mr Cansdell said he would be taking a few days off to visit family and friends and complete outdoor renovations on his house.

“I have 13 grandchildren and I love seeing the joy on their faces at this time of the year,” Mr Cansdell said.

“I hope everyone enjoys their Christmas and is safe and responsible over the busy period.

“This time of year should be taken to enjoy the company of friends and family,” Mr Cansdell said.

The State MP said he would be spending Christmas Day at home and most of his time off in the festive season would be spent in the Clarence Valley. It won’t be all relaxation for Mr Cansdell though – he has his house and fence painting project to work on.
