Muster winners are making arrangements
SOUTH Grafton residents and country music fans Tom and Joyce Wilson are on their way to the Gympie Muster after cleaning up in The Daily Examiner's Gympie Muster Mates promotion.
The Wilsons won a Muster Mates Four Day Season Pass tickets valued at $646, which cover camping and festival entry for the full festival season for two adults.
The promotion ran in The Daily Examiner from August 2 to 11 and was drawn August 13.
Participants had to fill out an entry form from the weekend edition of The Daily Examiner and a coupon from Monday's issue.
"I have never been to the Gympie Muster, but I've heard tremendous things," Mr Wilson said.
"My wife filled out the form and put my name on it, so she should be doing the talking.
"We are excited to go to the Muster and we're now making accommodation arrangements."
Mr Wilson said he married his wife when he was 19-years-old. "We've been married about 56 years," he said. "We used to go to the Jacaranda Festival back in those days."
The Gympie Music Muster runs from August 28 to 31 at the Amamoor Creek State Forest Park.
