Naked man arrested after teenage girl attacked in toilets

A NAKED man, who allegedly attacked a teenage girl in a swimming pool toilet block, has been arrested at Sydney's eastern beaches.

A 17-year-old girl told police she was in cubicle at a public pool near Maroubra when a young man forced open the door and attacked her.

She was able to escape and call for help.

A group of men heard her screams and pounced on the naked man as he allegedly tried to flee the toilet block.

The 19-year-old alleged attacker was charged with two counts of indecent assault and will front court on October 16.

Police are investigating whether several similar incidents reported in the area are linked.
