New climate change data

THE Commonwealth has started a review of the latest climate change data from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change's Fifth Assessment Report.

It is the international benchmark of the latest scientific data and research on climate change.

Climate Change Minister Greg Combet said the Australian review of the report would include input from academics, state government and industry groups, and would be released in 2013-14.

Free camping crackdown will pay for itself with fines

One of the best free camp sites in Australia this morning, Sunday, 1 May 2011. The only problem with it is that it is on the northern end of Sunshine Beach in Noosa National Park, at least 500 metres from the nearest public loo. Plenty of laws against this, but no enforcement at all.
