New shop a great fit

HANDS up who rips off their bra in discomfort as soon as they walk through the door of an evening?

What about the constant readjusting throughout the day - send you batty?

For those who just nodded in agreement, do yourself a favour and keep reading - these ladies may just change your life.

Janell Rose and Trish Dahl have based their business on ridding women of that uncomfortable burden we call bras, and fitting undergarments so they are as comfortable as possible.

A Comfortable Bra has just opened up on Prince St and, as its name suggests, Ms Rose and Ms Dahl want every customer who leaves their store to get just that.

"Too many women are wearing the wrong bra for them," Ms Rose said.

"We're all about getting the right fit."

Ms Rose said because you were a size 10 in a top, did not mean you were a size 10 in bras.

"If you wear the wrong size bra for years, you can actually damage your breast tissue," she said.

"And when you're dressed to the nines you need to get your undergarments right first, girls."

Ms Dahl said larger-busted ladies and those requiring maternity wear did not have to succumb to the ugly bone-coloured lady lump holsters that are so often assumed to be the only option.

"There are trendy, pretty ones to make you still feel beautiful and look sexy," Ms Dahl said.

A Comfortable Bra will have its official launch today from 10am-1pm.

There will be 15% off everything in store and buy two bras, get one free, plus a mound of great prizes donated by local businesses will be up for grabs.

Head down and meet the owners and plant all your undergarment question on them.

Ms Rose is also a prosthesis fitter, so head down to pick her brain about the best prosthesis for you.
