New trade training centres at Grafton High Schools

PAGE MP Janelle Saffin has announced six new trade training centre projects for her electorate, at Alstonville High School, Evans River Community School, Grafton High School; South Grafton High School, Induna School and Trinity Catholic College.

Ms Saffin said these were trade training centres she actively supported at a price of $5,854,300 funding for which was "already included in the budget".

"Trade training centres will address skill shortages in traditional trades and emerging industries by equipping schools with state-of-the-art industry standard facilities including fabulous commercial kitchens," Ms Saffin said.

The new centres will offer vocational training in hospitality and food technology (Evans River Community School; Trinity Catholic College, Induna School), automotive trades (Grafton High School) , construction (South Grafton High School) and primary industries (Alstonville High School).
