Farming is one of the most dangerous occupations in Australia accounting for one quarter of all work-related deaths. Everyone working, visiting or living on a farm needs to understand the risks and take the necessary precautions to avoid becoming injured.Farmers have to perform a wide range of tasks under varying conditions in the course of a typical working day and across the year. It's physically tough work. There are a number of farm safety hazards that can cause injury or death.
