NiE Natural Disasters

Everyone on earth lives through constantly varying conditions. Significant changes in the normal state of the planet and its atmosphere can lead to extreme events like droughts, floods, landslides, storms, cyclones, ocean and coastal surges, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, bushfires, heat waves and extreme cold snaps.

These NATURAL DISASTERS usually occur because of an upset in the Earth's natural geographical or weather patterns but human factors can also have an effect. Both can cause a change to our normal living conditions.

This NiE Extension - Natural Disasters - is a five part series that will include facts, information and activities about different types of disasters.

Running from March 14 to 18, the pages will give readers the chance to learn more about the events that occur in our place on earth.
