Nippers prepare for rescheduled Branch titles

CONGRATULATIONS to 11 Under-13 and 13 Nippers - Raeyah Kapeen, Gracie Pitkin, Brooke Korb, Caleb Collins, Clay Penman, Reilly Wunderlich, Jorden Elabbasi, Alanna Colwell, Abby Anderson, Elijah Kapeen and Joshua Morris - who completed their Resuscitation Certificate with great confidence on Sunday.

Thank you to trainers Jo King and Leah Essex, who spent many weeks teaching the children these lifesaving skills.

Nippers will be on this Sunday 9.30am to 11.30am. Under-9's parents are on set up and barbecue duty.

The Senior Branch Championships at Salt on Saturday were cancelled due to the weather. A small group of Nippers are hopeful the weather and surf conditions settle as they head to Salt this weekend to compete in the rescheduled Junior Branch Championships on Saturday and Sunday.

Yamba SLSC meat raffles are on every Saturday evening at the Yamba Golf and Country Club. Nicole and Greg Don and Trish and Kerry Pidcock will be selling tickets from 5.30pm with the draw starting at 6.30pm. Thank you to our volunteer patrols who continue to monitor Main Beach in all conditions.
