No flood fears for estate
STAGE two of the Lake View Heights estate at Junction Hill will be finished in about five weeks.
Bailey and Gough sales consultant Leo Cameron said stage two had 29 residential land blocks, with 30-40 blocks planned for stage three.
"Lake View Heights has been sought-after by many families looking to locate close to town, but with the advantages of a semi-rural environment," he said.
Mr Cameron said while many purchasers were concerned about the possibility of flooding, it was not an issue at Lake View Heights.
"Grafton experienced floods in 2009 to 2013 and this is being reflected in insurance premium renewals," he said.
"Locals to the Clarence Valley are aware that there is no chance of flooding at Lake View Heights and this is certainly one reason why this subdivision has been so popular with those seeking land to build their dream home."
Stage two prices start at $147,500, with sizes ranging from 762sq m to 2268sq m.
Mr Cameron said stage three would go ahead once all stage two blocks were sold, which he expected would be no later than 2015, with half already gone.
