Oldies stay young at heart

WET weather did not have officials hamstrung but the Golden Oldie rugby players did not have the same fortune.

Sore and torn muscles were the order of the day when the players took to the fields last weekend as the rain stayed away.

Grafton was represented by the Bullrouts – among other local lineups – and fun was the name of the game for these 35-plus aged players.

Preparations are now in place for September’s Golden Oldies World Rugby Festival.

Anyone interested in taking part in the World Rugby Festival in Sydney can contact Joe McCabe on 0417 395 505.
