Olympic bowler to share prowess

BOWLERS throughout the Clarence Valley will be interested in the exciting news that champion bowler Karen Murphy is bringing her coaching clinic to Grafton Women's Bowling Club on June 14, 15 and 16.

Murphy is ranked No.4 woman bowler in the world and she wants to share her knowledge of the game.

Those attending will receive expert tuition in skills training to develop all aspects of their game.

Murphy will also identify where bowlers can improve to become better players.

Murphy will be holding two sessions per day (three if necessary) of 1½ hours duration over the three days, with a maximum of 12 people each session.

Cost per person is $30 per session, with payment to be made when nominating.

Nominations close with secretary Joan Morrissey (phone 6642 7337) or can be posted to her at P.O. Box 321, Grafton, on Thursday. Bookings will be taken from men and women bowlers from any club in the district.

There is a nomination sheet in the ladies section of the Grafton Women's Bowling Club.

Club uniforms are to be worn to the clinic.
