One year on, Gulaptis reflects on life in the hot seat

WHEN Chris Gulaptis woke up a year ago, he would have taken a few moments to figure out whether or not it was all a dream.

On November 19, 2011, the former Maclean Shire mayor was elected as member for Clarence with 56.8% of the primary vote.

It's been a bumpy start to his term for the National Party MP.

In tomorrow's Daily Examiner we will have a two-page feature looking at Mr Gulaptis's past 12 months and asking him whether he's still living the dream or if any of it has been a recurring nightmare.

Pick up tomorrow's DEX for the full story.
