SIGN NOW: Online petition for Headspace facility in Grafton

A MEETING to discuss ideas for more mental health facilities will be held at Grafton District Services Club tonight at 6pm.

Organiser Janita Cooper said the meeting would be a chance for members of the Clarence Valley to share their thoughts on the state of mental health in the area, and suggest what could be done to help provide support to those who needed it.

"I just want the community to come together as one and see what we can achieve," she said.

"If the community can come together and come up with some goals of what we want to achieve, it will take some time but together we can make some progress."

Mrs Cooper said local mental health programs were strained and further resources from outside the valley were needed.
