OUR SAY: The search continues for Sharon Edwards
I SUPPOSE every day that goes by life gets easier for the family and friends of Sharon Edwards, but they must be only incremental improvements.
Twelve months on from the mysterious disappearance of Mrs Edwards, the search for answers continues.
For police it has long been a murder investigation as they clearly have next to no hope the school teacher will be found alive.
Disappearing of her own accord is just too far out of character to be a possibility.
Investigators think Mrs Edwards met with foul play some time on March 15, 2015, probably in the early hours, but having an idea of her movements hasn't helped them solve the puzzle of what happened.
While investigators will keep searching, the waiting for family and friends goes on.
As for the family and friends of any missing person, it must be difficult to stop the events taking over your life.
Every thing you do, every person you see and speak to, would spark memories or make you wonder if you will ever see your loved one or friend again.
Even a well-meaning inquiry would take you back to a place you might want to leave behind.
After a year, hopefully we are at least closer to finding out what happened to Sharon Edwards, and providing answers for those who are missing her the most.
