Outdoor film a blockbuster event

THE inaugural Grafton Public School Cinema Under the Stars on Friday was such a success that P&C president Karen Crispin hopes it will be annual event.

“We have managed to raise $2000 for the school to continue to upgrade their technology,” she said.

Karen said there was a great turnout, with about 350 people watching the film Bedtime Stories, starring Adam Sandler, on the Grafton High School oval.

“None of this could have been possible without the help of the 17 local businesses who sponsored the event and covered the $2500 cost to get the equipment and technicians from Brisbane,” she said.
