Pat's cash pitch saves Lollipop

THE saga of Lollipop the quarter horse has finally come to a happy end.

After she was abandoned near Whiteman Creek with an abscessed tooth, local vet Oliver Liyou needed a minimum of $2000 to save the quarter horse's life. She was eventually taken in by Pat Lambert, who set about raising the money for the surgery. On Friday, a Save Lollipop raffle was drawn and Oliver Liyou did the surgery.

Lollipop will now live out her days at Ms Lambert's farm.

The vet bill is still $500 short. Anyone wanting to donate should call 6642 4700.
