Pfeiffer's bucket load hooks monthly prize

FISHING CLUB: Krystal Pfeiffer hauled in a bucket load of fish to take out the Grafton District Anglers Club November outing.

The monhtly outing was held across the weekend of November 18-19, with anglers out on the water for almost a full 24-hour stretch.

Twenty-nine members nominated for the outing with 24 weighing in fish for judging.

The winner of the Senior competition was Pfeiffer, who hauled in 20 luderick and two flathead across the weekend.

Coming in as runner-up was Brett Lentfer with 50 garfish, five bream, two flathead and a bass. Third was Terry Daly with 11 luderick and a flathead.

The results were after each of the place getters had 30 points deducted for winning previous monthly outings.

The Junior competitors also got among the action. Jack McConnell won his second outing for the year, weighing in 10 flathead and a trevally.

Jenson Haynes was second after fishing long and hard for nine flathead and four bream while Will McConnell finished up third with six flathead and a nice trevally.

The next Grafton District Anglers Club outing will be held on the weekend of December 9-10.
