TWICE AS GOOD: The Pie and Pea business in Yamba is for sale as well as the property freehold.

Pie and Pea a unique offering

A PROPERTY like 11 Yamba St just doesn't come on the market every day.

LJ Hooker Yamba principal Mark Porter said the commercial property which currently housed The Pie and Pea, was unique for a couple of reasons.

"The business is for sale, but so is the freehold of the building so there's two opportunities with the business - you can buy one or buy both," he said.

"It's also the uniqueness of the location, there's a lot of foot-traffic passing."

He said the building itself offered many opportunities - lending itself to a number of different purposes.

"It's only been on the market for a few weeks. It's a new listing," Mr Porter said.

"You don't see a lot commercial freehold at the moment. People tend to hold on to it at Yamba - it's generational.

"People hold their properties for a very long time and we don't see the turnover of commercial freehold like we see in the cities."

Mr Porter said there were also nine properties up for auction in January - ranging from residential waterfront to older properties.
