Police draw guns on car in relation to missing Logan pair

A VEHICLE intercepted on the Gateway Motorway this afternoon was stopped in relation to the two missing people in Logan.

Late on Wednesday afternoon, police intercepted a vehicle heading north on the motorway near the Mt Gravatt exit, and early reports were that police had surrounded the vehicle with their guns drawn.
 

A spokesman for Queensland Police confirmed three people were taken into custody from the vehicle in relation to the disappearance of Cory Breton and Iuliana Triscaru from the Logan area. .

The spokesman declined to comment any further for "operational reasons".

Superintendent Dave Hutchinson from Logan Police held a press conference on Wednesday morning where he revealed crime scenes had been set up at two properties in Kingston as police continue to search for the pair who have been missing for more than two weeks.
