Police looking for clues in Gulmarrad child approach

A TEENAGE BOY was allegedly approached by a man while riding his bicycle in Gulmarrad.

Police are appealing for information about the incident which happend at about 4.30pm on Monday.

A 13-year-old boy was riding his bike along Sheehans Lane when he was allegedly followed by a man in a car.

Police have been told the driver followed him into Essex Dr where he stopped his car and called out to the boy asking him questions about where he lived.

The boy became concerned for his safety and rode off later reporting the incident to police.

Police from Coffs/Clarence Local Area Command are investigating the matter and are looking for the man.
He is described as being of Caucasian appearance with a tanned complexion and aged in his mid 30s with long shoulder-length scruffy blond hair.

He was driving a five-door, light blue 2005/06 model Toyota Corolla hatchback.
