Police seek driver of white 4WD

IF YOU live in Maclean and drive a white four-wheel drive, you might hold a vital piece of information in a serious crash investigation.

The Far North Coast Crash Investigation Unit is looking to speak to a married Maclean couple who rendered first aid to the occupants of a car which rolled over at Dairy Flat on the afternoon of January 31.

It is understood the car lost control going around a bend while travelling on Summerland Way, 40km northwest of Kyogle, and ended up on its roof in a nearby paddock.

Detective Senior Constable Phillip Priest said that while the identity of the Maclean couple was unknown to police, it was hoped they could assist with the investigation into the circumstances of the single vehicle crash.

It is believed the couple was driving a white, dual cab 4WD and may have had young children with them.

If this was you, phone the Crash Investigation Unit on 6681 8618.
