Property managers to use new phone app

THE NSW Government has launched the new Landsmart app, which will allow landowners to access the latest information on land management practices.

Minister for Primary Industries, Lands and Water Niall Blair said the app featured expert advice and resources which would help farmers and landowners access important information.

"We know managing a property big or small can be challenging, and can result in weed, pest and productivity issues.

"This app will give our farmers yet another tool to add to their land management toolbox," he said.

The Landsmart app is part of a wider project aimed at increasing the skills of landowners to promote sustainable property management.
