Put some colour on your plate
NUTRITIONIST and author Lola Berry has some simple advice to people who want to improve their diet: eat colour.
Ms Berry, the author of The Happy Cookbook, said cooking with colour was the simplest way to improve one's well-being.
"When you make a meal, put as many of the five colours in it as you can. Each of the different coloured edible plants has different nutrients," she said. "The more colour , the more health and happiness in your food."
Ms Berry (pictured) said happy food was simply food that makes you "feel the best".
"We all get hung up on all these different diets, when, at the end of the day, it's about celebrating life," she said.
