TAFE seeks media savvy students for new course
SCREEN and Media Courses are running at Grafton Campus of North Coast TAFE that are designed to teach you all the skills you need to make your own films.
The CIV Screen and Media course is an entry level one year course that will give you skills in script writing, lighting, sound and camera operation as well as editing.
You will learn all about documentary filmmaking and make your own short documentary film.
The CIV Screen course also gives you the opportunity to direct live multi-camera productions, which is a lot of fun.
Once you have learnt the CIV Screen skills the second year course is the Diploma Screen and Media.
The Diploma Screen and Media is a one year course and builds on the filmmaking knowledge you have learnt in CIV Screen and takes you to the next level of competency.
A new level of screen course available to Grafton TAFE this year is the Advanced Diploma Screen
The Advanced Diploma in Screen is a flexible delivery one year course designed for students who have already completed their Diploma Screen (or equivalent industry experience).
The teachers at Grafton TAFE are all industry professionals and the facilities are fantastic including a television studio with green screen and LED lighting, a Mac lab with the latest Mac Pro computers with editing software, multi-camera switcher, HD video camera's, audio mixers, boom and radio microphones, lighting kits and lots more.
