CLARENCE River Jockey Club has decided to honour the memory of local woman Tracey-Lee Schuhmacher at the Grafton race meeting on Monday.

Tracey-Lee, who had cystic fibrosis and died last week, was a casual employee of the CRJC and worked at both the July carnivals in 2012 and 2013.

The day will be called the Tracey-Lee Remembrance Race Day with all races named after something that touched Tracey's life.

Entry will be by donation, with all proceeds being passed on to either the Cystic Fibrosis Australia or the Tracey-Lee Foundation.

Friends of Tracey-Lee are urged to attend and come dressed in purple and gold.
