THIEVES have broken into a business on the Darling Downs and stolen a powerboat and trailer.

The theft occurred in McGahan St, Dalby between January 3 - 5.

The boat is a 2008 Maxum 2100SC powerboat and is one of only two of its type in Australia.

It has a custom fitted deep water bow sprit and a rear bait shelf. It is black and white in colour with Qld registration AM565Q.

The trailer is a seven-metre galvanised 2007 Maxum dual axle trailer bearing Qld registration 498QNF.
