Reptiles, weapons and vehicles seized in raids

LUXURY boats, cars, illegal guns and reptiles have allegedly been found in a home and business linked to a series of petrol bombings in Sydney.

Detectives investigating Molotov cocktail attacks on six homes and businesses earlier this year raided two properties on Tuesday.

During the searches at Kemps Creek and Smithfield, police allegedly found three exotic snakes and a lizard and seized two Porsches, two boats, two motorbikes, three registered guns, two unregistered guns and knuckle-dusters.

The raid followed a linked investigation into the serious assault of a man at Ultimo in June.

Police allege three men struck the victim numerous time with a baton or torch and knuckle-dusters.

A 48-year-old man was arrested during Tuesday's raids and charged with causing grievous bodily harm.

Investigations into the arson attacks and recovered property and animals are continuing.
