Couple leave city for Grafton life

NEWLY engaged, new business, new town; it's all go for Ashley Semitecolos and Karen Messerschmidt.

The new business is the Coffee Club in Grafton Shoppingworld where they serve good food, great service and excellent coffee.

“We took the opportunity to build a business and make it our own,” Ashley said.

And luckily they are both coffee lovers, enjoying a decent latté.

The couple came to Grafton from Sydney after extensive research and countless road trips to find the perfect place to settle down.

The couple loved the lifestyle they saw in Grafton, and the people made them come back.

On their last night in Sydney before making the move up north, Ashley proposed with the perfect backdrop of the Harbour Bridge and the Opera House, with a ring that somehow managed to fit Karen's finger like a glove.

The pair have already slotted into Valley life, with Karen managing to find herself a hockey team and Ashley making himself known within the local cricketing community.
