A 47-YEAR-old woman injured in a motorbike crash at Banyabba on Sunday was in a stable condition at Gold Coast Hospital last night.

The woman was airlifted from the crash site 30km north of Grafton, on the corner of Summerland and Pringles ways, to Lismore Base Hospital before being airlifted again to the Gold Coast.

Grafton ambulance stabilised the woman at the scene before she was airlifted. She was initially reported to have critical head injuries.

It is understood the woman was taking part in a group motorbike ride before she came off her bike.
