BARYULGIL campdraft is more than just another horse sport event: it brings the community together.

That was according to secretary Tom Chevalley, who said the event welcomed 190 competitors from north east New South Wales and Southern Queensland - more than double last year's entries.

"Probably about 60-70% would be locals," Chevalley said.

"It brings the community together and is something we can all enjoy. I guess everyone enjoyed it last year so much they spread the word."

Chevalley has two to three weeks to bask in the glow of another successful annual event before getting started on planning next year's.
