WICKS PICK: Former Ghost named in NSW Team of the Week

RUGBY LEAGUE: Former Grafton Ghosts forward Danny Wicks has been picked by the New South Wales Rugby League Association in their NSW VB Blues Team of the Week.

The selection is based on the performances of eligible NSW Origin players and their efforts in the NRL round matches of the week.

The Parramatta workhorse put in a massive effort for the Eels in their loss to the Panthers playing 60 minutes off the bench for 136 running metres and 36 tackles.

It is Wicks' first selection in the VB Blues Team of the Week.
