SCAM: "Have you been in an accident in the past two years?"

ANOTHER scam is doing the rounds in the Clarence Valley, claiming the recipient is entitled to compensation money after an accident.

The caller asks for personal information, and asks if they have been in a car accident in the past two years.

One Valley resident who answered the call said the scammer hung up as soon as they asked which insurance company they were from.

Community members are warned this is a scam, and not to give out any personal information.
