School killings were an 'inside job'

THE killing of 25 people at a Nigerian school on Monday is reported to have been "an inside job", with the gunmen calling out the names of each target.

A police spokesman told CNN the attackers went to the rooms of the victims, called them out, then killed them.

The marauders used both knives and guns in their spree.

It was within a student facility at the Federal Polytechnic - a university in the town of Mubi.

Among the 25 killed were 22 students, a school official, a former military man and an older gentleman.
